Webb’s Regiment

Actions on the day at Blenheim

Webb’s regiment were part of the allied center and formed part of Major General Webb’s own brigade. This brigade itself was part of a larger force commanded by Lt. General Lord Orkney.

This force deployed as Marlboroughs reserve as a 4th line behind the cavalry of the Erbroinz of Hesse-Kassel.

Uniform Details


Red coat lined yellow. Yellow hat lace.  As per the norm for the British army, the musicians had reverse coloured uniforms so they were yellow with red lining.
