Fynske Regiment
Actions on the day at Blenheim
The Fynske Regiment was one of the Danish regiments present at Blenheim. They served under Lieutenant General Scholten in the extreme right of the allied line.
The Fynske were deployed in the second line of Scholten’s two lines of foot.

As with all of my Danish troops I decided to paint them charging with bayonets since they were know as good shock troops. Dixons miniatures do some lovely models for this. You can almost
see them move as they lunge forward with their bayonets presented to the enemy.
